The Town of Greenfield, New Hampshire (pop. 2,000), a picturesque rural community located west of Manchester, NH, seeks to hire its first Town Administrator. This highly responsible and collaborative position is the principal liaison and support person for the three-member Selectboard and assists the board’s general administration of the Town. Day-to-day responsibilities include oversight and management of meetings, presentation of decisions to external audiences, and coordination with the Town’s elected and appointed officials. The position is full-time (40+ hours per week) and regular night meetings.  The salary will be commensurate with experience. The town offers excellent benefits.

The successful candidate will have several years of administrative experience in a municipal or comparably multifaceted organization, excellent oral and written communication skills, planning and organizing expertise, and will work well independently. Bachelor’s degree preferred.~
